With the publication of 21st Century Christianity, the Prague Trilogy will be complete. Begun in 2006 with Three Things You Can't Do in Prague, the trilogy traces the adventures of Knut and Gudrun, who want to contribute to the spiritual development of people living in the Czech Republic.
The first book tells of their naive and idealistic ideas and plans, as they contemplate and begin to shape their Prague-based ministry. The second book, Three Things that Last Forever, gives some backstory on the couple and reveals their motivation for choosing to establish a Christian ministry to the Czechs.
In 21st Century Christianity, Knut and Gudrun share their experiences of living and working in Prague. As so often happens, God does use them, but not in the ways they envisioned. Their ministry evolves to include non-Czech expats living in Prague as well as Czechs; they use some well-developed skills in career development and English language instruction to make friends and gain the ability to change lives for the better; and they contemplate the future of Christianity in the Czech Republic.
We intend to publish all three books as a trilogy in 2014, as well as publishing individual copies of 21st Century Christianity. We will also leap ourselves into the 21st century by publishing both the trilogy and 21st Century Christianity as e-books.
