Sara Tusek, author and educator |
| Sara has woven her career around writing, teaching, and program development and administration.
From her down-home birth state of Kentucky, Sara learned that practical and workable solutions to problems always trump the theoretical. She enjoys working with people directly, starting where they are and urging them to do more with what they've already got.
Sara has worked at every age level, from toddlers to retirees, with the same goal: to help people take responsibility for their own decisions and to offer them the tools and attitudes they will need to make their dreams come true.
Writing is one way to reach many more people than can fit inside a classroom. Sara writes fiction (Prague for Beginners, Three Things You Can't Do in Prague); non-fiction (21st Century Jobs, Your Career Passport, newsletters, articles and reports); and short stories ("Life in the Chicken Coop," "Like a Subaru in Colorado"). Sara currently teaches writing at Seminole State College and is Executive Editor of ILIP.
